Credit Card Security Northern Beaches Community College will take all reasonable steps to store your personal information securely. We use sophisticated technologies to provide transaction security, by means of 256-bit encryption through the use of a security certificate. This is the industry standard for Internet encryption. Make sure you are running the current version of your web browser to benefit from the 256-bit encryption. Our secure server software encrypts your name and credit card details. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into code that is then securely transmitted over the Internet. Credit Card details are not permanently stored. The card number is stored until the order process has been finalised, after which time it is deleted from our system. In the event of unauthorised use of your credit card, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
