Certificate III in Aged Care (CHC30212)
Course Aim and Delivery Arrangements
Certificate III in Aged Care is aimed at those wishing to provide care for the aged population. Workers in this occupational group work primarily in residential facilities under direct or regular supervision within clearly defined organisational guidelines and service plans. These workers carry out activities related to the maintenance of an individual’s personal care and/or other activities of living. These workers report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers.
Course Dates
Start Date: Tuesday 12 February 2013
Sessions: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays .
Time: 9am - 3pm (Note work experience hours will differ)
Location: Narrabeen Annex - 1525 Pittwater Rd, North Narrabeen, 2010 (Behind the Pittwater Sports Center)
Duration: The course will be held during Term 1 & 2, 2013
Course cost: $99 - LIMITED FUNDED PLACES available for Australian citizens/permanent residents.

Am I Eligible for a Funded Place?
Limited funded places ($99 admin fee payable) are available for Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents. Priority will be given to applicants who are unemployed (including unemployed with English as a second language) and/or disadvantaged. To apply for a funded position,please attend our enrolment day on Wed 23 January 2013. Please bring evidence of citizenship/permanent residency together with photo id. The enrolment day will be held at our Narrabeen Training Centre at 1525 Pittwater Road, North Narrabeen between the hours of 10am and 1pm or 5pm and 7pm. Course Structure
The Certificate III in Aged Care will be issued upon successful assessment of all units of competency listed below. These are from the Community Services training package, national qualification code CHC30212.

Please Note: A valid “National Criminal History Record Check (NCHRC) will be required to complete work placement in an aged care facility.
