Improve your Reading and Writing (Advanced)

Fully funded English classes are available to Australian Citizens/Permanent Residents/NZ citizens/humanitarian visa holders who require the skills provided in the courses to help improve employment opportunities or support further training needs. To ensure you are enrolled in the correct course, a short interview is required.
Term 3 2018 enrolment/interview days will be held at our Brookvale campus -Level 1, 14 William St, Brookvale on Tuesday 24 July : 5.00pm to 7.00pm OR at our Narrabeen campus on Thursday 19 July : 10-12pm

You do not need to book in advance.
You must bring proof of citizenship or visa.
Limited places available.
Course costs $250 if not eligible for funding.

FSKRDG10 Read and respond to routine workplace information
FSKRDG07 Read and respond to simple workplace information
FSKWTG05 Complete simple workplace formatted texts

This class will be held on Thursday evenings starting the 02 August for 8 consecutive weeks 6pm to 9pm finishing Thurs 20 Sept at our Brookvale campus

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

From 1 January 2015 it is a requirement of the Federal Government that all students undertaking nationally recognised training will need to obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI). This involves an easy online application. See USI Fact Sheet for information on how to apply for a USI go to the Unique Student Identifier (USI) Website for additional information.

Please ensure when completing your enrolment information, that the details relating to your name are identical to those on the identification evidence used (eg passport or driver’s licence) when creating your USI eg no abbreviations or nicknames should be used.

Once created, it is important that you keep a record of your USI and access to your accredited training records in a safe place. You will need this information for any future enrolments into accredited training in Australia.

Assessments are made against units of competency.

  • Read and respond to simple workplace information (FSKRDG07)
