Who are we?

Northern Beaches Community College Limited trading as Northern Beaches & Mosman College is a non-profit making association, governed by a College Board elected by its members annually.

Our Mission Statement

We provide subsidised accessible and affordable vocational training to disengaged, disadvantaged and other individuals and groups to enter employment or upskill. This includes accredited & non-accredited education and training and community-based education programs for adults. Our aim is to create a community where people are empowered to achieve their potential and enjoy success.

Courses and Industry Training Packages.

Northern Beaches & Mosman College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) national code 90113. We are registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver training and assessment and issue qualifications that appear on our scope of registration under The Australian Quality Training Framework. The College focuses its training on qualifications in Early Childhood Education & Care, Community Services, Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Disability, Nursing Assistant; Allied Health; Leisure & Health programming; Counselling; Business and Management skills, Human Resources, and Computer skills.

Recognition Process

Northern Beaches & Mosman College offers a process to recognise current competencies held by a candidate. To be granted recognition, a candidate will be required to provide evidence to an assessor, demonstrating current competency against the endorsed industry or enterprise competency standards or outcomes from an Australian Qualifications Framework accredited course. Mutual Recognition

Northern Beaches & Mosman College recognises the AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). This process enables a candidate to receive direct credit for credentials issued by another RTO where relevant to a course in which you enrol with NBMC. This enables national recognition of competencies.

GST + Adult Education

Unfortunately not all adult education courses are GST free. Those courses that do not attract GST are noted accordingly.
