Tech Savvy Seniors
The Tech Savvy Seniors program involves the roll out of training across NSW that aims to encourage more seniors to embrace information technology. Tech Savvy Seniors is an initiative of the NSW Ageing Strategy and is funded through a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra. It will assist seniors aged from sixty years who have had limited or no previous experience in using technology to learn new skills for the future.
Participants will be introduced to the use of smartphones, tablets and computers. The low cost training will also help older people to access information and stay connected with their family, friends and communities.
